Managing your Mindsmith account settings allows you to personalize your profile, adjust your notification preferences, and keep your login credentials secure.
To access these settings, open your organization settings and find the Personal category in the left sidebar. From there you can open the Profile, Notifications, or Account Security tab.
Profile Settings
The Profile tab is where you manage your personal details and interface preferences. Whenever you make adjustments here, be sure to click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.
Updating Personal Details
You can easily update the name and email address associated with your account.
To change your profile picture:
Hover over your current avatar at the top of the Profile tab.
Click the camera icon that appears.
Select an image file from your computer to upload.
Note: If you log into Mindsmith using a third-party service (like Google or Microsoft), your email address field will be disabled. You must manage your email directly through that third-party provider.
Changing Your Language
If you prefer to navigate Mindsmith in a different language, locate the Language dropdown menu. Click the menu to select your preferred interface language from the supported options. This will immediately update the text across your authoring environment.
Signing Out
To log out of your Mindsmith account, click the Sign Out button located in the top right corner of the Profile tab, directly across from your profile picture and name.
Notifications
The Notifications tab puts you in control of which automated emails Mindsmith sends you. The Organization admin alerts and Invitations groups expand so you can fine-tune each alert individually.
Lesson comments — when someone comments on a lesson, or mentions you.
Lesson completions — when a lesson hits a completion milestone (after 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 completions).
Organization admin alerts — new members, low credits, conversation limits, and utilization reports. Expand to control:
New members — when someone new joins your organization.
Credits running low — when a team member has used up their AI credits.
Conversation limit — when your organization hits its free AI conversation limit.
Enterprise utilization reports — a daily enterprise utilization summary for admins.
Invitations — when you're invited to an organization, an enterprise, or a shared lesson or course. Expand to control:
Organization invites — when you're invited to join an organization.
Organization invite reminders — reminders about a pending organization invite.
Enterprise admin invites — when you're given admin access to an enterprise.
Shared lessons and courses — when someone shares a lesson or course with you.
