Mindsmith is an eLearning authoring platform for creating, editing, sharing, and tracking interactive lessons and courses. You can build manually or work with the Mindsmith Agent to draft and revise content from instructions, documents, videos, and supported imports.
Complete the first-time setup
After you create an account, Mindsmith asks four short questions:
Select the role that best describes you.
Select how many learners you train.
Choose your main objective for using Mindsmith.
Choose how you heard about Mindsmith.
Your answers personalize the onboarding experience; they do not limit the content types you can create.
Join or create a workspace
A workspace is the organization where you create content and collaborate with other people.
If you have pending invitations, you can accept one and visit that workspace. If your verified email domain is approved for auto-join, Mindsmith can also offer a matching workspace for you to join as a Viewer. You may instead choose Create new workspace.
When creating a workspace:
Enter a workspace name.
Optionally enter one or more coworkers' email addresses.
Assign each invitee the Admin, Author, or Viewer role.
Select Create Workspace, or Create Workspace and Send Invites when you added invitees.
You can invite or manage people later from Settings and Members.
Choose what to create
After setup, Mindsmith opens the content-type chooser. Depending on the features enabled for your workspace, you can start a lesson, course, AI Conversation, or video.
For a lesson, you can:
Give the Mindsmith Agent instructions and supporting material.
Import a PDF, Word document, PowerPoint, text file, or supported SCORM package.
Start manually and add pages and tiles yourself.
See Creating a Lesson with AI and The Mindsmith Agent for the generation workflow.
