Avatar III vs. Avatar IV
When you render an Editable Video with an avatar, choose between two avatar engines. Both turn your script into a talking presenter, but they differ in fidelity and speed.

Avatar III
Standard avatars that look great in most settings. The fastest option.
Best for: the majority of your videos: narration, onboarding, and any scene where the avatar supports the content rather than being the star. It's the default, and the fastest to render.
Avatar IV
Higher fidelity avatars, best for prominently featured characters.
Best for: scenes where the character is front and center: a welcome message, a spokesperson, or a close-up where more lifelike motion and detail makes a difference.
Choosing an engine
You pick the engine right before rendering:
In the video editor, click Render in the top right corner.
In the render dialog, find the Avatar engine setting and choose Avatar III or Avatar IV.
Click Start Rendering.
Note: The Avatar engine setting only appears when your video includes at least one avatar. Rendering may consume organization credits, depending on your workspace’s billing setup.
