Lesson analytics in Mindsmith show you how learners are engaging with your content and where improvements can be made. Whether you are reporting to stakeholders, proving ROI, or refining the learner experience, analytics provide the evidence you need to make confident, data-backed decisions.


Where to find analytics

To access analytics for any lesson:

  1. Open the lesson in your workspace

  2. Click the Analytics tab in the top menu

You’ll see a live snapshot of learner performance and engagement.


What’s included

Viewer and performance metrics

  • Unique viewers: Track how many people accessed the lesson

  • Starts and completions: Measure how far learners progress

  • Average score: See overall performance on interactive elements

Engagement by content block

Understand how learners move through your content:

  • Percent viewed: Spot where learners drop off

  • Time spent: Identify which content blocks capture attention

Question-level insights

Dig deeper into assessment performance:

  • Answer distributions: Review how learners responded

  • Common wrong answers: Identify concepts that may need clarification

Learner-level data

For lessons shared with identifiable users, view analytics by individual:

  • Confirm completion for compliance

  • Support coaching conversations

  • Personalize follow-ups based on results


Exporting results

Click Export to PDF to create a shareable report. Use it to share with stakeholders, archive for compliance, or track results over time.
